Reaching For the Stars.
NASA wants future engineers to believe that anything is possible. When the organization decided to send a 3D printer to the International Space Station and print students’ designs in orbit, we jumped on board to document the process. Shot in many locations with many cast members, the film shows the inspiring process of dreaming and sketching. To mirror the kids’ projects, I wanted to forgo CG and created a custom logo lock-up as a real-life working machine with animated moving gears.
